This insures that you get the most accurate selection possible, with the minimum amount of interpolation. We build all silencers on-size to your duct requirements, saving the cost and pressure penalties of transitions. There is no need to modify your duct work or connections, etc. so that you can fit one of our silencers. Careful design and effective cost control makes it possible for us to provide 'custom-size' silencers at 'fixed-size' prices. With J.P. you get the service you expect and the products you need.

	Models and Sizes To determine the appropriate CSR module or CSC diameter designation for a given silencer cross-section or diameter use the following tables. For Type CSR silencers there are often several possible modules which could do the job. When making your selection, check the largest possible module first to come up with the most economical silencer.

The Data Sheets Index (below) list the appropriate J.P. data sheets for use when selecting your silencers. All ratings are accurate to within +/- 3 dB (instrumentation measurement tolerance). On projects where sound is critical even tighter tolerances can be applied. Self generated noise, normally, will not effect your selection as long as face velocities are kept at standard duct velocities. In those cases where velocities must be higher or required ambient noise levels are very low, refer to factory for assistance.
